Centrándonos más, la protagonista de esta historia se llama "Namine" , una chica de 16 años, un tanto misteriosa. Namine pertenece a uno de los clanes con menor numero de personas, pero de los mas prestigiosos.
Ella pertenecia a la familia "Akimida", su padre era el embajador de su clan, es decir, el portavoz (una de las personas mas importantes, pero no tanto como el lider), tambien se encontraba su hermana: Hikari, y su madre; Yasu. Namine era feliz con su familia, pero cuando cumplio los 11 años todo se volvió raro; nota un comportamiento extraño en su hermana y sus padres, una guerra ocurre de por medio y para salvar su vida se ve obligada a huir de su pueblo junto a su maestra, quien se compromete a cuidarla (que es Miyami).
5 años despues, Namine vuelve a su pueblo y descubre que todo ha cambiado completamente....lo que era perfecto para ella...habia desaparecido.

- About it: The story in an ancient oriental country, divide for clans, which are groups of persons (not necessarily family) with a common denominator: theirs powers. Every clan possesses a special power, which tries to take to the maximum control (in every individual) to be very strong in case of wars or seemed (this is done in schools). Between these clans there are the "rebels" and those who fight to eliminate these,in order to obtain peace. In addition, there exist "lost" clans that supposedly were eliminated by the "good" clans or became extinct.
